A fantastic time was had by all at the Big Gig – a celebration of new dances with a huge helping of fun at the Island Arts Centre on 20th June. Aided and abetted, as always, by an enthusiastic audience, Age on Stage performed new moves to ‘Happy’, ‘Gilly Gilly Ossenfeffer Katzenellen Bogen By The Sea’ and ‘I Can’t Tell a Waltz from a Tango’ amongst others. The finale saw most of the audience taking to the stage to join in, a very BIG thank you to everyone who came along and took part! Age on Stage would like to thank Lisburn Arts Advisory Committee and the Turkington Fund (which is administered by the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland) as well the Island Arts Centre for their support.
